Vacation has begun. I'd be a little more enthused only I'm tired and hungry and my hair is wet. I feel a bit like a drowned rat at the moment. Blergh.
Rats. I was hoping the MLP reboot would keep Nightmare Moon a little longer. Kay, maybe it was solely due to me wanting a pony version of her, although I will happily take one of Luna. Yes. Please. Now. Thanks. (Pinkie Pie is on crack or something, yes? Because damn. Normally I love the cracked out character but she's too out there for me as anything than a "heh..." kind of deal.)
There's a free shipping code for American Girl if you spend $50. (code is PF02831) Since they jacked up all their prices on things, this isn't all that difficult to accomplish. Two outfits and you're golden. Or an outfit and some accessories. Whichever. I ordered Lanie's accessories (dolls need laptops. It's the law! Plus, bunneh!), Lanie's Owl outfit (it's the shirt and the shoes that did it. Fugly scarf can go to hell and boring capris are both boring and capris), the Bitty Baby holiday dress so that Bitty of the Damned can creep people out (now in red!), and the My AG holiday accessories so Ivy can have some new earrings and the dolls can read a book for once.
That order should be here Tuesday. Maybe tomorrow if the gods smile upon me. It could happen. Anyway. I'm conflicted as to whether or not to try and use it again. I all but promised Cass an AG Christmas present and she gave me a list of things she would happily be gifted with. I'm leaning towards the holiday dress of the year because I know she likes collecting those. Granted, at this point I think this would make the second, maybe third so it's not so much a collection as she likes to admire the pretty holiday dresses. Maybe I'll compromise and go with the Dancing Star outfit. It's holiday themed (if you want it to be) and while you do not get a tiara, you do get to save $6. Or possibly the Bitty Ballerina gig. Save $10 and it looks just as cute on Bitty as it does on the older dolls. *muse*
That part isn't all that difficult. I'll have her gift sent here, I'll inspect it, wrap it, and send it on with her sister when she goes to visit in December.
Now, to get to $50 I "need" something else. I'm snagging the Pretty & Plaid gig, but it's on back order til November 12, which means that in order to keep my grubby paws off her present, I'll have to add a third item into the mix.

"Uh, but that's ten, genius" and I say that Kirsten doesn't necessarily want to wear her St. Lucia gown while everyone else gets fancy-ness.
So. If I go for Holiday fun, do I go for Kit or Addy? (Their dresses.) Addy's I think is universal in its prettiness. But while it is also cheaper, it does not come with shoes and come the holidays, shoes are frequently hard to find. And if I went with Kit's, it would give Ruthie something else. Poor Ruthie gets the short end of the stick. *muse*
