I don't love you like I loved you yesterday
Yesterday I braved the horror that is Walmart on a weekend afternoon. Blergh. Widget wanted new shoes (and Target failed) and Mums needed something from the pharmacy, so away we went.
Walked away with entirely different shoes than the kind Widget went in wanting (they didn't have any in his size) and a pair for Mums. I snagged the last three MLP blind bags they had and ended up with Cherry Fizz, Lily Blossom, and Holly something or other who is so insanely named because the something or other has about as much to do with her cutie mark as Holly. (It's a strawberry. Wtfuzzy?)
Came home and proceeded to experiment with Diatomaceous earth to see if this'll help keep the flea population down this year. The dogs seemed to enjoy their puppy massages with it and at the moment the only downside seems to be the cloud of dust that I knew would happen. (The actual flea meds seem to anger the fleas, not kill them. Except for Ozzie who had her fur burn off and that's a questionable trade-off at best.)
Fingers crossed.
And in news that should have surprised absolutely no one, ever, MCR broke up:
I still think that video is fabulous.
And if you were a doll person at the time, odds are good you remember the 9-billion or so Helena dolls/customs/Works in Progress.
The one-two punch of AFI's Decemberunderground and MCR's The Black Parade probably made my brother actively wish my stereo would die but it made me quite happy.
Can't really say I recommend the video, but Famous Last Words was probably one of my favorite songs of theirs.
I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
