Cyber Monday starts early. Weird.

Huh. That's... weird. I don't do a ton of shopping on special days, like Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but I do look forward to the AG sale on CM because I enjoy staying up, reading the various threads, and chatting with zallia. Last year I had to work, which meant many a covert text message sent and this year I was adamant about not working tonight.

So naturally AG sends an email earlier today, right before I finally lie down so I'll be rested for tonight, that says to check my email at 5pm CST this afternoon. Uh. Huh. Now, I've gotta say the Rewards program they set up has kinda sucked. The points system is needlessly complicated and frustrating and also kind of useless if you don't live near a store since shipping is going to eat your savings. Otherwise, mostly they've just sent videos as their big surprises. So I wasn't even sure it was worth getting up for. However, I woke up at 5:40 and decided what the heck, I'd look.

Behold, early access to the Cyber Monday sale. Access to the CM sale early is a good perk. Except... I was looking forward to the madness of previous years. Le sigh. Also, the Santa outfit I wanted sold out in the time it took to scroll down the page and then checkout. Boo.

Anyway, here's what I ordered. I don't get how I grabbed so little and it cost so friggin' much. D: (I mean, I do. AG's shipping prices are insane and throw in another $10 in tax that I wouldn't normally have had to deal with and voila, I just spent about $20 extra on top of my order.)
